The project aim to enable the GoB to design measures for mitigation and adaptation to address climate change, through (1) supporting communities living in coastal afforestation/reforestation sites to adopt resilient livelihoods, (2) regulatory reform and fiscal incentive structures introduction that incorporate climate change risk management, and (3) training CPP volunteers for climate risks, disaster preparedness and the benefit of coastal forest for climate risk mitigation. The project aims to assist the GoB to carry out all the necessary activities to increase climate resilience of costal belt communities and through adaptation and mitigation activities. |
